The St. Thomas Community celebrated Black History month with recognition of the Anniversary of Motown Records with a rendition of the Supremes classic "You Can't Hurry Love".
The assembly continued with a dramatic presentation of the life of William Hall of Nova Scotia, the first black man to be awarded the Victoria Cross in 1859 for his heroic work with the British Navy in the Far East.
The drama featured Canadian actor Anthony Sherwood, formerly of the CBC drama Street Legal, the CBS series Airwolf and recently on the cable drama the L Word, along with the stellar talents of four
Brampton students from Edmund Campion and St. Thomas Aquinas high schools. Enjoy the pictures.
