The Senior Girls Basketball Cardinals opened their season with an exhibition match against cross-town rivals St. Marguerite D'Youville Panthers.
The first half featured strong defence and some solid shooting by both clubs, with the Cardinals opening a four point lead at half time. The Cardinals extended
their lead to ten points in the 3rd quarter, and after a hard fought and competitive 4th quarter, the Cardinals held on to their lead, coming out top with a
solid 44-37 victory. Here are a few pictures from the game.
