The Junior Boys Basketball squad opened up the season against cross-town rivals Chinguacousy Chiefs. The taller Chiefs dominated early, going up by 17 points by the end of the 1st quarter.
But the spirited Cardinals fought back with a relentless press in the second half, bringing the game back to within 8 points in the early 4th quarter, before losing 51-41 in an entertaining game.
