The St. Thomas Aquinas community remembered the sacrifices of Canadian veterans from World War I, World War II, continuing to the current Afghanistan War.
This year's assembly featured remarks by principal Mr. Compagnon and Aquinas teacher and veteran Mr. Ellis, musical selections from the Senior Band and Women's Chorale,
video presentations from student council and Misha Joubran, and teacher Mr. Tobin, who shared stories of Canadian men and women who fought to be accepted into the armed services,
and some of whom paid lost their lives in service to Canadians. Here are a few pictures from the assembly. |
