St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, Brampton, Ontario Steel Magnolias November 16, 2011 The St. Thomas Aquinas drama department commenced its Season of Theatre with Robert Harlings' award winning drama Steel Magnolias, a story revolving around a beauty parlour in fairly modern Louisiana. The play involves a close-knit circle of friends whose lives come together, first for the wedding of local girl Shelby Eatenton, and subsequently for other dramatic and tragic reunions over the years.
