To celebrate Black History Month, rapper Emmanuel Jal graciously agreed to come to entertain and enlighten the Aquinas community.
Mr. Jal is a Sudanese musician, former child soldier, and now a political activist. A documentary of his life was shown at
the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City in 2008, winning the festivals's audience award. Mr. Jal had his childhood robbed from him,
and aims to preserve the childhood of others through music. And a bit of dancing. Here are a few pictures from the entertaining assembly.
