After a last minute schedule change that no one told the Aquinas team about, the Mayfield Maverick arrived at Gismondi Field to face off against the Girls Flag Football Cardinals.
Going down 12-6 at half time, the offence marched down the field to score a touchdown, plus a 2 point convert, and the defence shut down the Mavericks for the second
half to earn a come-from-behind 14-12 victory. Here a few pictures from the game. |
