Hairspray: Act 1

Over 100 students and staff were involved in the production of the John Waters musical Hairspray, a story of a teenage girl who dreamed
of being a regular on a local dance show in 1963 Baltimore. When she gets on the show, she finds the dancers only represented a narrow white
demographic, and works to have the show integrated with a more diverse group of kids who look like the people she knows from school and her neighbourhood.
