St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, Brampton, Ontario ABL Championship May 7, 2015 The ABL consisted of five teams playing games early in the morning before school began for most of semester 2. The Raptors faced off against the Mavericks in the championship game. The Raptors struck quickly, but the Mavericks opened up a commanding 19-7 lead by the middle of the first half, before the Raptors charged back to make it close at half-time, 28-26 Mavericks. In the second half, the Mavericks opened up another solid lead 51-41, before the Raptors clawed back to take a 53-52 lead with under two minutes left. But two clutch threes by the Mavericks in the final minute enabled them to win the close, hard-fought game 58-55. Here a few pictures from the championship game.
