During April 2013 in Halifax, Rehtaeh Parsons committed suicide after experiencing extended cyberbullying for more than a year.
Her father, Glen Canning, visited Aquinas to tell students the story of Rehtaeh and her family, and how easy it is to do nasty
and brutal things online that one wouldn't do if one had to do it face to face with the victim. Here a few pictures from the assembly.
