Canadian dancer, choreographer, actor and model Esie Mensah came to Aquinas to share her story of struggle to succeed in the highly competitive world of dance and the arts.
Here are a few pictures illustrating some of her work, from working with Rihanna, Drake, Janelle Monae and Nelly Furtado, choreographing parts of Panamania
in the 2015 Pan Am Games, appearing in the 2016 Reboot of the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Fox TV, as well as starting the Afrofusion dance group
Black Stars based on her Ghanian and contemporary dance background, and creating Akoma.
