During the spring, 8 intramural basketball teams competed, and it came to one final championship team between the Knicks and the Celtics.
With injuries and absences, the Celtics had only 5 players and no substitutes, while the Knicks dressed 8 players. The game opened with the Celtics
jumping out to a 19-5 lead, but the Knicks roared back with some sharp 3-point shooting to take a 31-23 lead into halftime.
In the second half,
the Celtics rebounded and with less than 4 minutes remaining in the 20 minute half, the Celtics lead 59-52. But the Knicks fought back to make it 59-58,
and with a Celtic miss with under a minute left, the Knicks had last possession. But solid Celtic defence prevented the Knicks from scoring, and the
tired but determined Celtics squad held on for a 59-58 win and the ABL Championship.
