Harvey
April 3-5, 2019
|
The Drama Club of St. Thomas Aquinas presented Harvey, the Pulitzer prize winning play from 1944 written by Mary Chase.
The story features Elwood P. Dowd (Andrew Spice),
a friendly man who claims to have an unseen (and presumably imaginary) friend Harvey — a six-foot, three-and-one-half-inch tall pooka (rabbit).
Elwood introduces Harvey to everyone he meets. His social-climbing sister, Veta (Joanne Tutor), increasingly finds his eccentric behavior embarrassing.
She decides to have him committed to a sanitarium. When they arrive at the sanitarium, a comedy of errors ensues.
Here are a few pictures from opening night April 3rd.
