The Senior Boys Basketball team took on the Heart Lake Hurricanes in their home opener after a convincing 83-63 win in their first game at Brampton Centennial.
The team got off to a strong start, but the team got into foul trouble in a half of very lobsided officiating, but still managed to come back in the second
quarter to salvage a tie 34-34 at the half. In the second half, the team fell behind by 10 points, but fought back to tie it with about 20 seconds remaining
69-69. Aquinas was fouled in the dying seconds, both foul shots were made, with the Cardinals earning a thrilling 71-69 victory.
