St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, Brampton, Ontario Junior Girls Volleyball November 29, 2022 The St. Thomas Aquinas Junior Cardinals opened their season at home against the David Suzuki Grizzlies. Both teams served well and had solid defences for the first game of the season. The Cardinals took an early lead, but the Grizzlies roared back to take the lead, but Aquinas came back to take the first set 26-24. The Grizzlies took the second set 25-21, so it was down to the final set. It was close at the beginning but with some stellar serving, the Cardinals took the final set 15-10, and the match 2-1.
