Orange Shirt Day recognizes the experience of those who went to Indian residential schools, to honour them, and show a collective commitment to ensure that Every Child Matters.
Students at St. Thomas Aquinas celebrated Orange Shirt Day in the cafeteria by writing a brief personal statement on a large banner, having their hand painted orange, and
making a hand print on the banner. And playing a little Jenga on the side. Here are a few pictures from the day.
