St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School, Brampton, Ontario Senior Boys Basketball December 13, 2024 The St. Thomas Aquinas Cardinals earned their first win over St. Martin Mustangs in the highly competitive OFSAA division, where only a few teams compete to earn a trip to OFSAA. The team jumped out to a 16-6 lead at the end of the first quarter, and a 23-9 lead early in the second, but the Mustangs pressed, forcing turnovers and scoring layups, with the Cardinals only up 36-32 at half time. But Aquinas adjusted at half time, and came away with a hard-fought and close 66-63 victory. Here are pictures from the game.
