On Day 6, I took the train from Madrid to Barcelona, and arrived in early afternoon.
First, I hopped on the subway and landed at the magnificent, uncompleted cathedral designed by Barcelona architect Antoni Gaudí, the Basílica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Família. I was hoping to get in,
but entrance is timed, and their was only a 7:30 p.m. time and it closes at 8:00 p.m., so that would be saved to letter. So, I took the subway to Casa Milŕ, also known as
La Pedrera (meaning in Catalan, the Quarry), in the Eixample district of Barcelona, and took a tour inside.
