Iceland
July 2009

The top panoramic is a water-level view of the Blue Lagoon. Pictures one and two are of the Sun Craft sculpture and Hordi House by Reykjavik Harbour. Pictures three through thirteen are views of the Hallgrimskirja Catherdral, Reykjavik's largest, both outside and inside the sanctuary. Built on top of the hill where it "rises to be the"protector of the people, high above the capital of the country", the spire is the highest point in the city. It was built over several decades in the 1800's, and was ready for use in 1886. Picture three and four are two views of the spire, the current one during renovations, and the one as it should look. Picture fourteen is a statue of explorer Lief Erickson, donated to Iceland in 1930 by the United States. Picture fifteen is of the Domkirja by Austurvollur Square, and the final picture is a selection of stockings at Top Shop, both in downtown Reykjavik.
