Sao Miguel

On Day 5, I took an Azores Airlines plane to Ponta Delgada on the Azores Island of Sao Miguel. After a delightful wait of more than 5 hours in the quite nice Madeira Airport,
I arrived in Sao Miguel, went to my Neat Hotel Avenida in downtown Ponta Delgada, I met up with Morocco trip friends Donna D'Cruz and Andy Rodenbeck, and we toured the historic area
of Ponta Delgada, enjoyed Pina Colada's inside fresh pineapples, and then had dinner at Ta Gente's, which specializes in Passion Fruit Sangria, and local meat, cheese
and bread platters, with honey.
