1 is an odelisk monument on the western side of the Chora on the way to the Portara.
2 is the still standing entrance to the Temple of Apollo, an estimated 21 ft. high.
3 is a view of the Kastro (Castle) in Chora, started around 1200 BC by the Venetians when they took over Naxos.
4 show a motorcycle, which is one of the most common way for tourists and locals alike to get around the island.
5 and 6 show the narrow winding streets in Chora, not quite as random as on Mykonos, but close.
7 to 10 show the northwest entrance to the Kastro, and the still standing tower.
11 is an example of a winding street inside the Kastro.
