Pictures 2 to 6 show the Century Melody entering the first Miraflores Lock. Ships which are made to just fit into the locks are called "Panamax",
and mega-ships which are too big to currently fit, but made to fit in the soon-to-be-constructed Panama Canal locks, are called "Post-Panamax".
Picture 7 shows a member of our crew getting the ropes ready.
Picture 8 shows the third boat in our group, a yacht also touring the canal.
Pictures 9 to 11 are views of the Lock closing behind our boat, with fresh water entering the lock, and salty sea water on the southern side.
