On Day 1, I arrived in at the Rio Hato airport, a not at all busy airport that is used primarily for tourists coming in and occasionally military operations. We were bused to the Royal Decameron Farallón, located in the small village of Farallón about 3 km. from the airport. It's a large resort, with 852 units, two to three buffet restaurants, seven a la carte restaurants, eleven bars, nine pools, a theatre with nightly entertainment, a massive sandy beach and a quite efficient excursion company run by the hotel.
