Above: A view from the Bridge of the Americas of the Panama Canal, and the rail terminals where goods are loaded to and from ships, and taken by rail to the Atlantic side of Panama, and vice versa.

1 to 3 show views driving through the El Chorrillo section of Panama City, just to the west of the Casco Viejo (old city) of Panama City.

4 to 6 and 9 are buildings, one being renovated as we walked into the Casco Viejo.

7 shows the Baluarte Mano de Tigre, the Tiger Hand Bulwark, the ruin of one of three bulwarks to defend the old city of Panama, what's left after 1856 demolition.

8 is the Plaza Herrera, one of two public squares in the Casco Viejo.
