Pictures 4 to 8 show an intact bunker, and little side foxhole for a gunner to sit in wait for his enemy.
Pictures 9 to 11 shows the coast just to the west of Pointe du Hoc, where American Rangers scaled the cliffs
to get up to the top where the bunkers are. About a third of the troops landing there died in the battle.
