Ottawa Bluesfest: Backstreet Boys

Yes, I went to Backstreet Boys. Lisa made me. The DNA World Tour, they have a new album, and they only mentioned it about a dozen times,
guess it's not selling well. The crowd wasn't there for the new stuff.
And it was packed ... probably the biggest crowd I've seen at Bluesfest in over ten trips
there, similar sized to Kanye West's concert. A slick, well-choreographed show. They can harmonize quite well together, and they did that exactly ... once.
Their dance moves are pretty good, they work hard for the money. Some of their songs are decent ... I actually enjoy I Want It That Way.
Then they started their hip hop (allegedly hip hop) set. The songs were awful and there were so many of them. I think the term poser was invented when
somebody saw BSB performing these tunes. Wanted to stick a pitch fork through my ear drums to stop the pain. Then it was over.
