Last year I went on a tour of the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum very nearby and other Athens sites, so I didn't go to the Acropolis this year ...

On Day 2, I went to National Archaeological Museum in Athens. There are virtually no paintings, just numerous artifacts from Greece and the Greek islands in a collection of objects that would rival that of the Louvre. After visiting the museum, I spent the afternoon at Monastiraki and the area around Hadrian's Library.
