6 The quite good buffet, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The service here is excellent, as it is in the bars and all over the hotel, because a peso ($1.27 Canadian) is worth much to the Cuban worker. Because the average worker gets only 6-12 Pesos per month, he/she can earn more than that each day at work, and they hustle and literally fight for people who tip, because not everyone tips in an all-inclusive place where meals cost nothing extra. A tour guide with a full 40 person bus, like that of my Havana Tour, could easily clear over 50 Pesos in one day!! So working in tourism is a prestigious job in Cuba, because of the opportunity to earn so much more than other workers can earn, such as farmers working hard outside in the scorching heat.
