We arrrived at a "typical" home of a Dominican citizen. This citizen's home had it's roof blown off in a brutal storm a few years back,
and the Mega Truck company put a new roof back on in exchange for letting tourists trapse through their home, and pose for pictures with
those tourists (picture 12, seated on the left is the 85 year old owner), although few of those on our tour took up that offer. They still cook
by wood fire (for the most part) and have tanks to save rainwater (as did a lot of homes I saw in the rural areas).
