Above: From the Temple of Kom Ombo, a large frieze lying on the ground. Kom Ombo means "hill of the gold", meaning it was once a key economic area.



1 shows the view of the Nile River from my room.

2 to 5 show the Sobek half of the Temple, with a closeup of Satet, walking down the hall, and hieroglyths detailing dates, festivals and harvest yields.

6 to 9 are from the Horus half of the Temple, including the Ptolemy Pharaoh in #9.

10 and 11 are among the medical information and surgical instruments carved into a back wall at the rear of the temple.

12 is a Nilometer, a shaft used to measure the clarity and water level.

13 is a carving in the Crocodile Museum originating from the Temple of Kom Ombo.
