Above: The first of three souvenir seller boats comes right up beside our ship to yell up to us if we'd like to buy their goods.
1 shows lunch aboard the cruise ship.
2 shows a yacht dragged along the Nile by a tugboat. There were very, very few ships of any description going up or down the Nile.
3 to 8 show our boat going through the Esna, with first one, then eventually three boats, with locals yelling to us on the top deck trying to sell towels.
9 and 10 show our boat making its way to the Esna lock.
11 shows a persistent pair of sellers following us through the water to just before the Esna lock.
