1 to 5 ... the Gamboa guide and boat driver have us leave Gatun Lake and drive into the Panama Canal.
6 ... the banks of the Pnbama Canal in many places are tiered along the sides, and have vegetation growing ... that is to prevent soil erosion,
especailly in the rainy season.
7 to 11 ... a large Chinese czrgo ship passes by. Large ships are brought through the canal by tugboats, driven by very well-paid Panama Canal employees.
