Above: A series of bridge-sprouted jars with matching decoration styles in the Prehistoric Museum of Thera.

1 is a pithoi, a large storage vessel in this case for wine, from the 17th century BC.

2 is perhaps the most famous fresco from Ancient Akrotiri, the Fisherman fresco is from the north-eastern corner of Room 5 in the West House.
A young nude male figure with partially shaved head holds a bunch of fish in each hand tied together with yellow string, possibly a religious ritual.

3 is a vase originally from Knossos, Crete, 17th century BC.

4 and 5 are part of the Monkey fresco, found only in small fragments and from Room B6.

6 is back at the pool at the Astir of Thira Hotel.
