1 to 4 show the Temenos of Artemidoros. It was founded in the 3rd century BC by Artemidoros, the son of Apollonios, who carved the outdoor
sanctuary out of stone himself. A least 16 epigrams and inscriptions honouring their gods have been etched on rocks around the sanctuary.
A dream led him to settle in Thera in his old age. He was active founding and maintaining temples in the city and was honoured for this
contribution with citizenship in Thera.

6 are some of the ancient homes in Ancient Thera.
7 to 9 show the remains of the Egyptian Ptolemaic Garrison building.
10 is a view to the east of the far eastern part of Thera, the sacred district of the town.
