Above: Shows the plan for the The Basilike Stoa (Royal Stoa), whichmarked the center of public life. It is a huge portico 46 x 10 m in area which extends along the agora.
The roof of the stoa would have been supported by a row of ten Doric pillars along the middle axis. It was completely rebuilt in the 1st century.

1 and 2 show the remains of the Basilike Stoa.

3 and 4 show the Exedrae, three buildings in the form of a Roman temple, from the 1st century AD, which housed statues of prominent citizens of Thera who were honoured by the city.

5 are smaller houses in Thera.

6 is a view over Kamari and the eastern coast of Santorini.

7 is the beginning of the walk down Mesa Vouno to Kamari.

8 is the better way to get down the mountain.

9 and 10 show another vineyard near Kamari.

11 shows the Green Market in Fira, very near the Astir of Thira Hotel.
