The first and second forts had some significant differences. The main diffence was a highly fortified and improved blockhouse.
While the first floor housed supplies and ammunition for the fort, the 2nd floor of the blockhouse had beds for the soldiers and their families,
as did the 3rd floor. A nice view of Prescott from the fort, looking southwest.
After the fort tour, Jill and I took in the St. Lawrence Shakespeare Festival's production of Cyrano De Bergerac. Catherine Rainville introduced
