Above: A mural of a crocodile on the wall in the Nubian village on the west of Sehel Island.
In ancient Eypgt, the crocodile was the god of water and often acted as a symbol of power and strength.
1 to 9 show our walk through the Nubian village. You may notice three young girls and a young boy walking with us. Throughout Eygpt, at every
temple, museum or site we visited, people were aggressively trying to sell us items or ask for money, and this often included young children,
sometimes young than these kids, followed us through the entire village, and knew enough English to ask for what they wanted.
10 to 15 is a local family run café in the village where we drank some hibiscus or tea, with some nice paintings on the wall, and stuffed animals.
