1 shows the tower of a mosque on the eastern coast of the Nile ... it seemed every mosque had a tower, with loudspeakers calling for prayers.
2 to 4 shows some of the painted rocks in the Sehel Island quarry.
5 and 6 show the Famine Stela ... the crack down the middle reportedly happened when a bunch of drunk German tourists rented a helicopter to try
and take the stela, but it cracked down the middle when they tried to move it. Idiots.
6 to 9 show the group walking through the Nubian village, with local youngsters escorting us.
10 Ahmed speaks to the group at the Nubian café.
